A barrel aging and bottle cellaring program have been implemented to ensure the wines are released when they are ready to drink.

All Ruby Blues wines are produced exclusively from vineyards on the Naramata bench where the terroir imparts that unique quality specific to our region.

The Commune series of wines are made from grapes which we source from our vineyards and from vineyards of fiends and neighbors here on the Naramata Bench.
The grapes from these different origins now are brought together in the wine bottle.

Philosophy begins in the vineyard with precise pruning, canopy management, and cluster thinning. Pursue low yields with the aim of fruits with intense concentration. Hand selected fruit combined with minimally-invasive winemaking techniques allow for wine’s pure expression. A combination of natural yeasts, gentle maceration, French oak barrels and attention to every detail, result in wines of depth, character, elegance and finish.
